The parish of St. Andrew and St. Mark has gone green.

Members of the Dorval Anglican parish raised their glasses March 25 to toast a $160,000 investment in geothermal heating for the historic church - the chapel was built in 1898 - as well as the annexed co-operative daycare, the Centre de la petite enfance Dorval.

Read the whole story and see pictures of Rev. Karen Chalk, who grew-up on the West Island of Montreal I might add.

Ice Rink  Installation (My Favorite, of course)

Not only are the arena operators pleased with the system’s low maintenance, they are delighted with the energy savings attributable to the integrated geothermal system. The comfort of the viewing area, lockers and community hall has improved.

Montreal Solar Project :

The Solarwall is an environmentally sound alternative to traditional fossil fuel-fired air make-up systems. Its complete system greatly enhances year-round indoor air quality and comfort applicable to various climatic conditions.
