For real, the police are warning about a Red Van seen in Lachine, last week (in the local paper). My own Daughter told us about a Maroon Van that approched her last week in DDO.

Then This Morning on CJAD 800 the POLICE are WARNING to SPEAK with your children about SAFETY, because of reported cases around the city, one being flashing, and I must AGREE things are happening, and our children need to know what to do.

Our Daughter has a cell phone now and we told her to have it ready when walking even from the bus to the door. Of course she knows not to even approch a vehicle when the driver speaks to her.

This driver she encountered told her to Get In the van in French. The van was a Maroon Panel Van without windows in the back. Described by my son and daughter as a kidnapping van, how appropriate, " like the ones they use on TV ". They're actually learning something from TV, I guess.

Our big concern which we told to the police is the heavy bus areas in DDO. Many corners have multiple buses coming and going within minutes of each other.
